Please help us by donating a new, handmade blanket
Blankets can be taken to your regular drop off site, or you can check the Project Linus site for more information on where you can take them. You might even get to meet one of the many volunteers that make this program work. We are trying to be at some of the drop off points, but waiting for permission from the stores. Details will follow.
Project Linus is a volunteer non-profit organization with a two-fold mission:
- First, it is our mission to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer blanketmakers.
- Second, it is our mission to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interest individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
Project Linus is honored to be a part of the TAPS Program that provides a support network for families facing the loss of a military member.
